Jaizki Mendizabal (b. 28 July 1977, Zarautz, Spain) is a telecommunications senior researcher, lecturer and author who has gained international recognition for his work on dual RF (radio frequency) receivers for GPS and Galileo (satellite navigation) systems[1].
He received his MSc and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tecnun in 2000 and 2006 respectively. He has been involved with the RFIC research group at FhG-IISA, Germany, the RF design group at CEIT research centre, Spain, and the Mixed Signal research group at SANYO Electric Ltd, Japan as an RF-IC designer[2]. His current research focuses on monolithic RF design for GNSS systems. He lectures RF Measurement at the Tecnun RF Measurement Laboratory in San Sebastián, Spain[3].
He is the co-author of GPS and Galileo:Dual RF Front-end receiver Design, Fabrication and Test[4].
Dr Mendizabal is a keen weightlifter and traditional Basque dancer[5]. He is married and has two twin daughters.
